NISE to conduct a One Day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Thu, Aug 4th, 2016 The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an autonomous institute under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, and specializes in facilitating Research & Development, Testing, Certification, Skill Development activities in the field of Solar Energy Technologies. The institute is conducting One Day Workshop on Prospects for Start-ups in Solar Energy Technologies at NISE, Gurugram Campus, on 10th August 2016, i.e. Wednesday. NISE is planning to set up a Technology Business Incubation Centre for assisting new Entrepreneurs incubate in Solar Energy Business space. The one day workshop will basically focus on: Scope and Business Opportunities in Solar Thermal, Solar Photovoltaic and Solar Water Pumping Technologies. Opportunities under Start up India / Stand up India Policy of Govt. of India. Visit to 500 kW Power Plant at NISE (100 kW x 5 different Solar PV Modules. Economics of Solar Technologies. Business Models for Funding, etc. How to start a Company, Different types of Companies, Compliance Mechanism with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Service Tax rules, Tax payments, Tax Breaks, etc. Who can participate? Existing and Prospective Solar Entrepreneurs; EPC Contractors; MNRE Channel Partners; Energy Department Officials of Govt. of India and Officers from State Nodal Agencies, Graduate Engineers and etc. There are total of 100 seats on first come first serve basis.
