National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) has launched the registration process of its 5-day skill development program for solar PV systems at Gurugram. The program scheduled from 24th to 28th of September is expected to teach the participants how to design and simulate solar PV systems. The program includes a brief training of an off- grid system, on- grid system and hybrid system which also aims at teaching the execution of different development phases of the solar power plant. Also, the institute asserts that the program will make the participants successful solar professionals. Moreover, the institute is targeting and expecting graduate engineers with basic knowledge of electronics, mechanical, electrical & civil engineering, renewable energy, solar energy; solar entrepreneurs; scientists, researchers, engineering college faculty, MNRE channel partners; C.A., senior Energy Department Officials of Govt. of India and Officers from State Nodal Agencies etc. The 5-day program includes teaching of the fundamentals as well as in-depth knowledge of the solar PV systems through ‘PVSYST’ and ‘PVSOL’ software keeping in view the cost economic and policies.
