NISE to conduct 3-Days Skill Development Program on Designing of Concentrated Solar Thermal & Solar Water Heating System By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Oct 19th, 2016 National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an autonomous centre of excellence of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, is conducting national skill development programs to meet the needs and upgrade the technical expertise of solar professionals. The institute will be conducting 3-Days Skill Development Program on “Designing of Concentrated Solar Thermal & Solar Water Heating System” from 9th November to 11th November 2016 at NISE campus Gurugram. Learning Objectives Basic Concept of Solar Thermal Energy Collectors Solar Thermal Power System Solar Thermal Space Heating and Cooling Details Specifications and Thermal Performance of CST systems for Industrial Process Heat Details Specifications and Thermal Performance of Solar Water Heating Systems for domestic and commercial applications Solar Desalination Systems Key Implementation Requirements, Standards, Regulations and Procedures of CST systems Design, fabrication and installation of CST system and solar water heating system Financial issues, economics analysis and payback period of CST systems and solar water heating systems The target audience is the Graduate Engineers with basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar Energy; Researcher, Solar Entrepreneurs; MNRE channel partners; Senior Energy Department Officials of Govt. of India and Officers from state Government and state Nodal Agencies etc. Training Fee per Participant will be Rs 4000 plus 15% service tax. There are a total of 30 seats on first come first serve basis. Lunch, Tea will be provided during the Workshop. Accommodation, TA/DA would not be provided by NISE.
