NHPC Floats Tender for EPC Contract of 50 MW Floating Solar Power Project in Kerala

National Hydroelectric Power Company (NHPC) has floated a tender for the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the development of 50 MW floating solar power project and associated transmission system for grid connectivity along with comprehensive O&M for 05 (five) years at West Kallada, District-Kollam, in the state of Kerala.

The online bid submission start date and time is May 25, 2023 at 11 AM. The online bid submission closing date & time is June 1, 2023 at 5:30 PM. The last date of offline submission is June 5, 2023 upto 5 PM.

The MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy) recently published a full calendar for the financial year FY23-24, outlining the bidding targets for the four key central implementing agencies. These include SECI, NTPC, NHPC and SJVN. NTPC and NHPC will have 10 GW each as capacities for bids.

NHPC recently issued a tender for the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract for the development of 300 MW capacity floating solar power project and associated 220 KV transmission line for connectivity at 400 KV grid substation alongwith comprehensive operation and maintenance for 05 years at Rengali Reservoir at Angul district in the state of Odisha.
