NHDC Tenders for Price Discovery of Solar Modules for 1500 MW PV Projects By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Mon, Oct 19th, 2020 NHDC has issued a limited tender for the price discovery of solar PV modules for solar power projects of NHDC for RUMSL RFPs for 1500 MW. NHDC Ltd, a Joint Venture of NHPC Ltd and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, has issued a limited tender for the price discovery of solar PV modules for solar power projects of NHDC for Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Park (RUMSL) RFPs for 1500 MW. Bids have been invited from vendors that have been empaneled by the NHDC. The last date for bid submission is November 2, 2020, and the technical bids will be opened on the following day i.e. November 3, 2020. The date and time of opening of the price bids and the e-reverse auction will be intimated to the bidders that clear the technical stage and then the price bid round. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for October 23, 2020, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders. The work under the tender has been categorised into five packages:- Agar Unit-2 (350MW/ 490MWp) – Category A Neemuch Unit-2 (170MW/ 238MWp) – Category A Neemuch Unit-3 (170MW/ 238MWp) – Category A Shajapur Unit-3 (125MW/ 175MWp) – Category B Shajapur Unit-2 (220MW/ 308MWp) – Category A It must be noted that NHDC intends to participate in the RFP invited by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) for the development of the 1500 MW grid-connected solar project for the selection of developer(s) under the open category at Agar (550 MW), Shajapur (450 MW) & Neemuch (500 MW) within the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The three RFPs have been called by RUMS separately for each solar park. For NHDC, participation in the said RFP’s shall be done in a sequential manner and bidding shall stop, if NHDC wins any project (a combination of projects) in the range of 340 MW to 350 MW i.e. NHDC shall invest for projects in the range of 340 MW to 350 MW. All bidders are required to furnish, as part of the bid, an earnest money deposit for an amount of Rs 8.4 crore. Bids received unaccompanied by acceptable bid security as above shall be rejected as being non-responsive and shall not be opened. Recently, NHDC had also issued a tender for the price discovery of EPC Contract for Balance of System (BOS) for the development of the same solar power projects that it will in the RUMSL RFPs.
