This 15-year contract, started in January 2025, represents an overall volume of 1.5 TWh of power supply.TotalEnergies will provide STMicroelectronics, an integrated device manufacturer, with renewable power (including the guarantee of origin) produced by two recent wind and solar farms of 75 MW operated by TotalEnergies. This power comes with structuration services to transform intermittent production in a constant volume (baseload) of green electricity. It’s the first time in France that such a 15-year contract is provided. ENGIE Seeks To Enter Saudi And Emirati Renewable Markets French utility ENGIE SA is seeking to gain a foothold in renewable energy markets in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which are holding big tenders for wind and solar farms to diversify their energy sources. ENGIE is preparing to bid for four solar projects totaling 3 gigawatts and for 1.5 gigawatts of wind projects under the so-called round six tenders in Saudi Arabia. Competition has been “aggressive,” and the company unsuccessfully bid for 3.7 gigawatts of solar projects in the kingdom last year. The company is also waiting for the result of a tender for 1.5 gigawatts of solar projects in Abu Dhabi. KPI Green Energy, Coal India Signed Contract To Develop 300 MWAC On Ground-Mounted Solar Plant Gujarat based KPI Green Energy Limited has successfully signed a contract agreement with PSU Coal India Limited. In a regulatory filing, the firm said that it will develop a 300 MWAC grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV plant with Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for five years at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The contract price is ₹1,311.40 Crore, with completion expected by November 2025.
