RWE Owned, Operated Clean Generation Assets Reaches 10 GW In US

RWE, a leading global energy company, has reached significant growth in the U.S. after hitting 10 gigawatts (GW) of installed generation capacity of onshore wind, solar, and energy storage facilities in operation from coast to coast.

The company owns and operates a diverse portfolio of more than 170 facilities in 24 U.S. states, including 4.3 GW of solar, 5.2 GW of onshore wind, and 0.5 GW of battery storage. Additionally, RWE has more than 4 GW of clean energy projects under construction in the U.S. RWE is present in a majority of U.S. states and continues to rapidly scale its U.S. operating portfolio  across the country.

Exide Energy Selects HONEYWELL To Power Building Austomatopm At Lithium-Ion On Gigafactory In India 

Honeywell has been awarded a contract to provide building automation solutions to Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL), a fully owned subsidiary of Exide Industries Ltd, India’s largest battery maker.

Honeywell will equip EESL with digital solutions to help improve operational efficiency and deliver faster incident response, energy savings, and increased security for phase one of its new 80-acre lithium-ion gigafactory campus in Bengaluru. Key to this will be Honeywell’s Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) platform, which will provide an integrated view, centralized monitoring and control of building management across the gigafactory campus.

Envision Energy Secures South Africa’s Largest Energy Storage Order

Chinese clean energy player Envision Energy has secured a contract with the EDF Group, to supply three battery energy storage systems (BESS) for the Oasis 1 cluster of projects, amounting to 257 MW of capacity and 1028 MWh of storage. This marks the largest battery energy storage system (BESS) order in South Africa and positions Envision Energy as the first energy storage system supplier in the region to secure a GWh-scale order.
