KLK Ventures Illuminates Chamunda Mata Mandir With Solar-Powered Safety And Sustainability

KLK Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a renewable energy solutions provider has completed a solar lighting installation project at Chamunda Mata Mandir in Himachal Pradesh. This project was undertaken in collaboration with HIMURJA, the state agency responsible for promoting renewable energy in Himachal Pradesh.

US based independent power producer (IPP) Enfinity Global has secured a US$164 million loan for a 250MW solar PV portfolio in Japan.

The financing was led by Macquarie Capital, the investment division of Australian financial services group Macquarie Group and a syndicate led by Shinhan Asset Management.

Queensland Launches $3.3 Billion Transmission Project To Enhance Renewables 

Work on the ‘CopperString 2.0 transmission line’ that will connect the North West Minerals Province to the National Electricity Market (NEM) and help unlock 6GW of renewable energy capacity has started. The project, to be funded using coal royalties besides other sources, is expected to be completed by 2029. The hub of the project will be based in Hughenden, located to the south-west of Townsville City. It is being developed by Queensland government-owned network operator Powerlink.

With a 70% renewable target by 2032 for Australia, Queensland is playing catch up with South Australia as it seeks to triple rooftop solar deployment and a plan to add 22 GW of renewable energy to the grid by 2035.
