Sungrow Powers One Of The First Hybrid Solar Parks In Halmstad

Sungrow was a key part of the commissioning of Sweden’s first hybrid solar parks, which have been successfully deployed in Halmstad. Sungrow is providing the inverters and the Energy Storage System (ESS). Developed by Solarwork Sverige and Powerworks Energy, the hybrid solar park is designed to generate over 7,000 MWh of clean electricity annually, ensuring optimal energy production and delivery when it’s needed most.

Australian Government Launches $25 Mn Solar Program For Apartment Residents

The Albanese Labor Government is working with the Minns NSW Government to deliver a new $25 million program to help apartment residents save up to $600 on their energy bills annually. The Solar for Apartment Residents incentive is the first-of-its-kind in NSW and provides co-funding to eligible owners’ corporations and strata managers to install shared rooftop solar systems. Currently one in five NSW homes are apartments, yet only about 3.5 per cent of those are connected to solar. This program will expand access to renewable technology and lower the cost of residents’ power bills.

Cypress Creek And Meta Sign 396MWac RE Agreement In Texas

Cypress Creek Renewables and Meta have signed a landmark Environmental Attribute Purchase Agreement (EAPA) that will enable Cypress Creek to construct a 505MWdc solar facility in Texas. This agreement supports Meta’s goal to match its operations with 100 percent clean and renewable energy.

The new 505MWdc (396MWac) solar facility, Hanson Solar, will be owned and operated by Cypress Creek in Coleman County, Texas. Once operational, the project will deliver electricity to the ERCOT grid, contributing to grid reliability while supporting Meta’s clean energy commitments.
