BrightNight secure this credit facility with its joint venture partner Cordelio Power, for their Box Canyon utility-scale solar power project in Pinal County, Arizona. BrightNight and Cordelio are co-members of BOCA bn, LLC, the owner of the Box Canyon project. Construction of this 300MW project began in December 2023 and is expected to begin operation in 1H in 2025. Energy Vault and ACEN Australia Strike Deal for 400 MWh BESS Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. and ACEN Australia have finalized agreements for two 400 MWh battery energy storage system deployments in Australia. Construction starts in late 2024 for commercial operations in 2025 and 2026. Longi Partners with Carvalho Energia Sustentável to Power 15 Solar Plants Across Minas Gerais Minas Gerais-based company Carvalho Energia Sustentável has diversified its portfolio by investing in hydroelectric and solar plants. Carvalho Energia Sustentável’s solar venture, totaling 53 MWp of installed capacity, encompasses 15 plants located in Minas Gerais. Neoen Secures 400MW Canadian Battery Contract Neoen has been awarded a 400MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Canada. The four-hour capacity contract was secured in a competitive tender initiated by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), Ontario’s electric grid operator.
