NERD to conduct three-month training programme on “solar PV installer and service provider”

A training program on ‘Solar PV Installer and Service provider’ supported by central and state governments would be organised in Coimbatore to create more professionals in the field of solar energy. Training will include sessions on soft skills and entrepreneurship

The program is sponsored by the National Institute of Solar Energy, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency.

The skill development programme will be held at the Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Development (NERD) Society.

Applicants who have passed class X and have industrial training or diploma in electrical, mechanical or electronics can apply for the training program with details of their age, qualification, address and contact number.

Last date to submit application with detail information is March 5. Priority will be given to women, unemployed and candidates from rural areas. Candidates will receive certificate on completion of the course.
