NABARD approves loan for 10 MW Solar Plant in Haryana By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Aug 30th, 2016 National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned a loan for 10 megawatts solar plant in Harayana under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for rural infrastructure in the state. Of Rs. 204.67 crore, amount of Rs.147.18 crore has been sanctioned to the state government under the 22nd tranche of RIDF for 2016-17 for construction of three rural bridges, construction and upgradation of 26 rural roads in 10 districts namely Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Ambala, Jind, Karnal, Mahendergarh, Panchkula, Rewari and Yamunanagar. NABARD sanctioned Rs. 57.49 crore for a 10 MW Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant at Panipat Thermal Power Station (PTPS), Panipat. The generated green energy would facilitate in fulfilling the renewable energy purchase obligations of the state.
