MYSUN Commissions 897 kWp Rooftop Solar Plant in MP

MYSUN has successfully commissioned a rooftop solar plant in Pithampur (near Indore), an industrial city of Madhya Pradesh.

MYSUN, an innovative technology backed platform for rooftop solar energy solutions for industry, SMEs/MSMEs and homes has announced that it has successfully commissioned a rooftop solar plant in Pithampur (near Indore), an industrial city of Madhya Pradesh. The project was undertaken for a leading insulation and PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) manufacturing company.

This solar plant of 897 KWp will help the industry save around Rs 1 crore every year on their power bills. With this plant, MYSUN has expanded active operations in Madhya Pradesh and consolidated its position as the leading customised solar solutions provider.

The plant uses premium solar equipment to ensure durability and a long lifespan. This is a grid-tied system and is commissioned with Net Metering, which means the unutilised power will be sent back to the Discom, giving the industry benefit of enhanced savings. The plant would not only manage the bottom line expenses of the company but also would take care of carbon footprint with total CO₂ eradication of around 26,000 tons, which is equivalent to planting 42,000 trees.
