(MSEDCL) has invited a Request for Selection (RfS) for procurement of 1000 MW (AC) solar power from projects to be developed in Maharashtra through a competitive bidding process. The last date for submitting the online bid is September 19, 2022, till 4:00 pm & bid will be open on the same day at 6:00 pm. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) has invited a Request for Selection (RfS) of 1000 MW (AC) solar power from projects to be developed in Maharashtra through a competitive bidding process. The last date for submitting the online bid is September 19, 2022, till 4:00 pm & bid will be open on the same day at 6:00 pm. The minimum bid capacity is 2 MW and the maximum bid capacity is 10 MW to be quoted by any of the bidders. The Projects shall be commissioned within 12 (Twelve) months of issuance of LoA. Delay up to Two months from SCOD – MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution) will forfeit Performance Bank Guarantee on per day basis and proportionate to the balance Capacity not commissioned. MSEDCL Issues RFS For 250 MW Grid-Connected Storage Also Read In case the commissioning of the project is delayed beyond Two months from SCOD – MSEDCL will forfeit total PBG and the PPA capacity shall stand reduced/amended to the Project Capacity Commissioned at the end of the 14th month from the date of issuance of the Letter of Award. This MSEDCL 1000 MW solar tender includes the scope of work design, finance, procurement of land, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Project(s) under and by the provisions of the PPA to be entered into between the Solar Power Generator and MSEDCL. Eligibility Criteria MSEDCL shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Bidders selected based on this RfS for the purchase of solar power for 25 years from the Commercial Operation Date of the solar power projects based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RFS. MSEDCL’s 500MW Solar Tender Awarded to SJVN, Tata Power & Others Also Read Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 15000 + 18% GST as a tender / RFS document fee, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder also will have to pay Rs. 10,000 per MW + 18% GST as a document processing fee, which is also non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 1 Lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit. The Net-Worth of the Bidder for the financial year ended on 31.03.2022 shall not be less than Rs 0.55 Crores per MW (of the capacity quoted). For meeting the above financial eligibility criteria, if the data is provided by the Bidder in a foreign currency, equivalent Indian Rupees of Net Worth will be calculated by the Bidder using the Reserve Bank of India’s reference rates prevailing on the date of closing of the accounts for the respective financial year.
