(MSEDCL) has invited RFS (request for selection) for the procurement of a cumulative 300 MW of solar power from decentralized solar projects under component-A PM-KUSUM scheme to be developed in Maharashtra through a competitive bidding process. The last date for submitting the online bid is January 09, 2023, till 04:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) has invited RFS (request for selection) for the procurement of a cumulative 300 MW of solar power from decentralized solar projects under component-A PM-KUSUM scheme to be developed in Maharashtra through a competitive bidding process. The Projects shall be commissioned within 12 (Twelve) months of issuance of LoA. It’s worth noting here that component A of PMKUSUM has broadly failed to gain traction, with barely any of the planned 10,000 MW anywhere close to completion currently, nationally. This MSEDCL 300 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. As per the tender document, the minimum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 0.05 MW & maximum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 02 MW. The awarded bidder must pay Rs. 1 lakhs per MW as an earnest money deposit. The selected bidder also must provide Rs. 5 Lakh/MW as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) after the issuance of the letter of intent and before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA). The successful bidder must have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs/MW during the previous financial year i.e., FY 2021-22, or as on the date at least 7 days before the due date of bid submission. The Net-Worth of the awarded bidder for the financial year ended on 31.03.2022 shall not be less than Rs 1 Crores per MW or as on the date at least 7 days before the due date of bid submission.
