(MSEDCL) has invited RFS (request for selection) for a 230 MW of solar power project tender through a competitive bidding process in Maharashtra. The last date for submitting the online bid is November 16, 2022, till 04:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 06:00 pm. MSEDCL Issues Tender for 615 MW Solar Projects Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) has invited RFS (request for selection) for a 230 MW of solar power project tender through a competitive bidding process in Maharashtra. The Successful bidders shall develop ground-mounted solar PV power projects subject to the conditions specified and as per the list of lands annexed. The last date for submitting the online bid is November 16, 2022, till 04:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 06:00 pm. This MSEDCL 230 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. As per the tender document, the minimum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 2 MW & maximum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 10 MW (2X5 MW). Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 15,000 (excluding 18% GST) as a cost of the tender document, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 10,000 per MW (excluding 18% GST) as a bid processing fee, which is also non-refundable. The awarded bidder must pay Rs. 1 lakhs per MW as an earnest money deposit. The selected bidder also must provide Rs. 5 Lakh/MW as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) after the issuance of the letter of intent and before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA).
