The last date for submitting the bid for this 298 MW solar power project is September 5, 2022, till 4:00 pm and bids will be opened on the same day. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has invited an Expression of Interest (EoI) for the procurement of a cumulative 298 MW of solar power from de-centralised solar projects. All these solar projects should be a minimum capacity of 0.5 MW and a maximum capacity of 2 MW under component-A of the PM-KUSUM scheme to be developed in the state of Maharashtra. The last date for submitting the bid for this 298 MW solar power project is September 5, 2022, till 4:00 pm and bids will be opened on the same day. Interested bidders will have to pay Rs. 5,000 per MW + 18% GST as a processing fee, which is non-refundable. Awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 1 lakh per MW as the Earnest Money Deposit. Eligibility Criteria The participated bidder’s net worth for the financial year concluded on March 31, 2022, cannot be less than RS. 1.0 Crores per MW (of the capacity quoted). A minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs/MW of the quoted capacity during the previous financial year 2021-2022. It is hereby clarified that “Other Income” as indicated in the annual accounts of the Bidder shall not be considered for arriving at the annual turnover. MSEDCL Gets Approval For 14 MW of Solar Projects Under PM-KUSUM Also Read In-principle sanction letter from the lending banks of the Bidder, committing a Line of Credit for a minimum amount of Rs. 12.5 Lakhs/MW of the quoted capacity, towards meeting the working capital requirement of the project quoted under this RfS/ Expression of Interest (EoI). The successful bidders are required to sign PPA with MSEDCL within two months from the date of the issue of LoA. Subsequent extensions in this timeline shall be finalized and agreed upon by MSEDCL. The PPAs shall be valid for 25 years from the Commercial Operation Date of the proposed / new solar power projects based on the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RfS / Expression of Interest (EoI).
