In this tender, the power will be purchased through a competitive bidding process from this 500 MW intra-state grid-connected solar PV power project. In this tender, the power will be purchased through a competitive bidding process from this 500 MW intra-state grid-connected solar PV power project. This MSEDCL 500 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 3 Lakh per MW (including 18% GST) as a bid processing fee, which is also non-refundable. The awarded bidder must pay Rs. 4.72 lakhs per MW as an earnest money deposit. The selected bidder also must provide Rs. 12.98 Lakh/MW as a performance bank guarantee (PBG) after the issuance of the letter of intent and before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA). Projects must have a minimum bid capacity of 50 MW and a minimum project capacity of 25 MW at a single location. The maximum bid capacity is 500 MW, provided that technical and financial requirements are met. Additionally, the project capacity must exceed the minimum project capacity by multiples of 25 MW (25 MW). A minimum annual turnover of Rs. 35.17 lakhs/MW of the quoted capacity during the previous financial year i.e. FY 2021-22. It is hereby clarified that “Other Income” as indicated in the annual accounts of the Bidder shall not be considered for arriving at the annual turnover.
