MPJN Issues Consultancy Tender For 100 MW Solar & 60 MW Wind Projects The Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam (MPJN) has issued a request for bids for Consultancy services for 100 MW solar and 60 MW wind generating projects. MPJN is desirous of engaging a consultant for support in setting up Solar PV and Wind projects for Captive Utilization of Power under Group Captive Mechanism and to support in all the related regulatory provisions as required to be handled by MPERC, MP New and Renewable Energy Department (MPNRED), MP Transmission Co. Ltd, MP Concerned Discoms, MP Power Management Co. Ltd or any other such controlling authorities and to assist MPJN. The deadline for bid submissions is April 24, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for April 26. The tender document also read that the average annual turnover of not less than Rs. 5.0 crores in previous three financial years i.e., 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24. The bidder should have positive net worth in the FY 2022-23. Also, the bidder must have experience of at least one consultancy assignment from any Government entity for setting up and substantial completion of minimum 20 MW solar PV or 15 MW of Wind power project for utilisation of power under open access mechanism. Substantially completion shall mean at least 50% financial completion of the power project, according to MPJN tender. The bidder shall submit the earnest money as the Bidder shall furnish as part of its Qualification Proposal as EMD (the Bid Security). The Bid security shall be for an amount of Rs 50,000, as per MPJN tender. In other news, Gensol Engineering, solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company has announced that it has started a 10.6 MW rooftop solar project for Trident group’s Budhni Textile Unit in Madhya Pradesh. According to press release by the company, the project utilises nearly 20,000 545W Longi Hi-MO 5 Bifacial Dual Glass LR5-72HBD modules and is expected to produce approximately 15,000 Mh annually.
