MP Govt Approves 442.04 Ac Land For RE Equipment Manufacturing The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has now approved the expansion of the area of Industrial Area Mohasa-Babai in Narmadapuram district to promote electrical and renewable energy equipment manufacturing. At a council of ministers meeting, the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav approved the expansion plans. The Cabinet decided to add 442.04 acres of land in Industrial Area Mohasa-Babai to the 441.96 acres area reserved for manufacturing electric and renewable energy equipment. Now the total area of the industrial park has become 884 acres. Similarly, facilities and allotment processes approved for the industrial park were approved to be made available for the units to be set up under the revised area. The Cabinet approved road construction works worth more than Rs 2,312 crore in Indore-Ujjain because of the upcoming Simhastha-2028. In this, Ujjain Simhastha 4-lane bypass of length 19.815 km with paved shoulder upgradation and construction work costing Rs 701 crore 86 lakh were approved. TPREL Commissions 431 MW Solar Project At Neemuch In MP Also Read Similarly, Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Road 4-lane with a paved shoulder length of 48.05 km and costing Rs 1370 crore 85 lakh and Ingoria-Depalpur 2-lane with paved shoulder road length of 32.60 km under Ujjain district worth Rs 239 crore 38 lakh have been approved. All these roads will be developed through the MP Road Development Corporation. Hotspot For Renewable Projects Indian renewable energy company Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) recently commissioned a 431 MW DC solar project at Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. The solar project is spread across 1,635.63 acres of land. TPREL said this is India’s first solar project site to incorporate a combination of single-axis trackers and bi-facial modules. TPREL said that this integration boosted the efficiency of the entire system by over 15%, enabling peak power supply for extended hours. The project was built by overcoming challenges, including rocky terrain, transmission line readiness, and remote site logistics, the firm said. Madhya Pradesh’s peak power demand usually coincides with the Rabi crop season between October and March, while Uttar Pradesh with its Kharif crop between April and September. This seasonal fluctuation in the demand of the states is influenced by the agricultural cycles of the states-UP harvest kharif crops during July to October, and MP cultivates rabi crops between November to March.
