MNRE invites EoI from qualified Professionals as Trainers for Technical Assistance Program By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Thu, May 18th, 2017 It is proposed to impart training to 10,000 Utility Engineers and 5,000 Entrepreneurs in the country as a part of Ministry’s initiative on imparting skill. As directed by MNRE, NISE shall be the implementing agency for the same. To cater these training requirements, it is required to create a pool of trainers in this sector whose services can be utilised for the same. MNRE is inviting expression of interest from qualified professionals (as trainers) for Imparting Training to the following categories: a) Category A trainers for Training Utility engineers from DISCOMS/SNAs b) Category B trainers for Entrepreneurs for implementation of Solar Roof top Program across the country. Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India has set an ambitious target, of adding 40 GW Rooftop Solar PV capacity by 2022. It demands for Institutional capacity, human resources and skilled professionals at various levels. It is proposed to impart training to 10,000 Utility Engineers and 5,000 Entrepreneurs in the country as a part of Ministry’s initiative on imparting skill. As directed by MNRE, NISE shall be the implementing agency for the same. To cater these training requirements, it is required to create a pool of trainers in this sector whose services can be utilised for the same. Scope of the Trainers To support the training of the beneficiaries, as and when required (at specified location) The training assignment (will be on time to time basis) and will be till the completion of the specified program. Eligibility Criteria for applicants S.No. Particular Category A Category B 1 Age Minimum 35 Years Minimum 30 Years 2 Educational Qualification Minimum Qualification : B. Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electrical or Power Engineering Desirable : Masters in Renewable Energy related subject / MBA in Energy Management. Minimum Qualification : B. Tech (relevant field) or M.Sc in relevant field Desirable : Masters in Renewable Energy related subject / MBA in Energy Management. 3. Experience Training experience in solar :Minimum 5 Years Experience in the power sector will be preferred. Training experience in solar : Minimum 3 Years Interested institutes/individuals must submit their EoI to Deputy Director General (Skill Development), National Institute of Solar Energy, GwalPahari, Gurgaon, Haryana-122003 on or before 05.06.2017. Submit a scan copy of the application to the email id: [email protected] on or before 05.06.2017. MNRE notes that all the submission/applications will be screened by a committee constituted by the ministry and the qualified/eligible applicants shall be decided based on the competency of the institute/applicant to the eligibly criteria mentioned. Committee reserves the right to reject any application, without mentioning any reason thereof. The decision of the committee shall be final and no claims against it shall be entertained.
