Ministry of Railways Floats Solar Tender For 7 Stations of Mumbai Division

The Ministry of Railways has invited a request for proposal (RFP) for the supply of grid-connected solar power plants at 7 stations of the Mumbai division (Sion, Vasind, Kopar, Ambivili, Karjat, Datiwali, and OHE workshop Kalyan).

The last date for submitting the online bid is January 06, 2023, till 01:00 pm. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Scope of supply & work includes all design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV system with panel complete with all accessories, metering system, inverter with data logger with the provision of data transferring to remote service along with data storage, mounting structure, cables, wiring charges, SEB charges

and all other associated work charges including GST charges etc. as per detailed specifications at SION, VSD, KOP, ABY, KJT, DTVL, and OHE Workshop KYN.

The advertised value of the tender is Rs. 7256981/-. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 145100/- as an earnest money deposit. 

To procure this tender the bidder should have executed, supplied, erection, tested, and commissioned/AMC/Repairing Solar Panels/Solar Water Heaters/Solar Lighting Systems/Solar Power Pack/Wind or Hybrid Power Systems. The work must have been carried out in any of the following organizations – (a)Central Government Department or State Government Department OR (b) Central Government PSUs or State Government PSUs.

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year should be positive, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
