Ministry of Home Affairs Issues Tender for 13 Off-Grid Solar Plants MHA Issues tender

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a tender for the supply of 13 off-grid solar photovoltaic power plants. The solar power plants are to be set up in Central Armed Police Forces (Indo Tibetan Border Police).

The date on which bids open is 23.01.2023 at 16.30 while the bid closes on 23.01.2023 at 16.00. The bid offer validity is for a period of 90 days.

The bidder seeking EMD exemption, must submit the valid supporting document for the relevant category as per GeM GTC with the bid. Under MSE category, only manufacturers for goods and service providers for services are eligible for exemption from EMD. Traders are excluded from the purview of this Policy.

Reverse Auction would be conducted amongst first 50% of the technically qualified bidders arranged in the order of prices from lowest to highest. Number of sellers eligible for participating in RA would be rounded off to next higher
integer value if number of technically qualified bidders is odd.

Preference will be given to Make in India products.
