MHI Invites Bids For 100 MW SJVN Solar Project Survey, Planning in Rajasthan Solar Project

The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has issued a tender to engage an agency to undertake a topographical survey, soil investigation, preparation and submission of detailed progress reports, and initial layout submissions for the EPC package. This tender invites to develop a 100 MW solar project at Nawa, Rajasthan, for SJVNL Green Energy Limited. It’s accepting bids till March 11th, 2025.

The bidders for the project are expected to have experience in executing similar work, including topographical surveys, soil investigation reports, preparation and submission of detailed progress reports, and submission of initial layouts for any solar power project where the contract was issued under a single agreement by the government, PSU, PSE, private limited organizations, the power sector, or the energy sector.

The MHI tender states: “In case different work orders or purchase orders with the same scope of work within the same project have been executed by a bidder, the cumulative value of such completed work orders or purchase orders shall also be considered for evaluation.”

Furthermore, the tender specifies: “The value of executed works may be adjusted to the current cost level by enhancing the actual value of the work at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the last day of the month preceding the one in which the application is invited.”

Additionally, the tender clarifies: “If the qualifying work has been completed within the specified seven-year period, even if it was started earlier, it will still be considered to meet the requirement.”

The tender also laid down financial qualifications. It mentioned, “The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years ending 31.03.2024 should be not less than Rs. 6.50 Lakhs. Whereas the net worth of the bidder is expected to be positive during the given financial years.
