METKA EGN’s Solar Parks to get O&M Services from BayWa

As per the deal, BayWa r.e. Operation Services Ltd will provide O&M services for these two solar farms of 5 MW each in Exeter and Swansea.

A two-year contract has been signed between METKA EGN and the German diversified group’s renewable arm BayWa AG, for providing operations and maintenance (O&M) services for two 5-MW solar farms.

As per the deal, BayWa r.e. Operation Services Ltd will provide O&M services for these two solar farms of 5 MW each in Exeter and Swansea.

Also, the contract will came into effect in the initial months of the year 2018, according to the announcement.

The BayWa is based in Munich and has the history of providing strategic, trading, operations and other services in the fields of energy, agriculture and building materials.

It has earlier secured contracts of around 965 MW in solar and wind and is currently providing services to them across the UK.

The company has also won the contract for operations and maintenance of 30MW solar portfolio from Good Energy.
