MEDA Issues Tender For Rooftop Solar Plant By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, Feb 13th, 2019 The last date of bid submissions is February 21, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on February 22, 2019. The Maharashtra Energy Development Authority (MEDA) has issued a tender for setting up of a 45 kW capacity grid-connected solar PV power plant under rooftop net metering at the Prabhat Kids School in Akola, Maharashtra. The last date of bid submissions is February 21, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on February 22, 2019. A pre-bid meeting to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders has been scheduled for February 16, 2019. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 20,025 i.e. 1 percent of the total estimated cost of the project which is Rs 20,02,500. The brief scope of work for selected bidders will include the design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and operation and maintenance for a period of 5 years, of the project on a “Turnkey” Contract Basis. The selected bidder has to upload the proposal under MH-GCRT programme for getting the central financial assistance. The selected bidder will get 30% CFA under this programme. The balance 70% payment will be made by MEDA. To be eligible, the Bidder should have installed and commissioned 50 kW capacity (single or cumulative) grid-connected rooftop net metering systems. And should have an annual turnover of not less than 100 lakhs during the last three fiscal years. The time frame for the completion of work is 30 Days from the date of issue of work order.
