Adani Green Energy Arm Mahoba Solar Bags 390MW Hybrid RE Project By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, Feb 6th, 2019 The project is expected to have a solar generation capacity of 360 MW and wind generation capacity of 100 MW. Mahoba Solar (UP) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy has been awarded 390 MW of capacity in hybrid renewable energy project. The tender for which was floated by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project is expected to have a solar generation capacity of 360 MW and wind generation capacity of 100 MW, it said in a BSE filing. With this, AGEL’s portfolio of renewable generation capacity in India stands at 4.16 GW with 1.97 GW operational projects and balance 2.19 GW in the development stage. The company also informed that another one of its subsidiaries, Adani Renewable Energy (KA) Limited, has commissioned a 12 MW Wind Power Project on February 4, 2019, in the state of Gujarat. Recently, Inox Wind Limited, one of India’s leading wind energy solutions provider, received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Adani Green Energy, a part of the Adani group and a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) to develop its wind project. The company announced that building on its strong partnership with Adani Green Energy in the renewables sector, it will now supply, erect and commission Adani’s 501.6 MW of wind power projects, across projects that the energy giant won under SECI auctions. The project is scheduled to be executed over the next 15 months at Kutch District of Gujarat.
