MAHAGENCO Invites EOI for 600 MW Solar Projects in Maharashtra By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Aug 30th, 2022 Highlights : Under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojna,” the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has invited an Expression of Interest to establish six solar power plants in six different regions of Maharashtra with a cumulative capecity of 600 MW. Each Plant has 100 MW of capacity. The last date for submitting the online bid is October 19, 2022. Under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojna,” the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has invited an Expression of Interest to establish six solar power plants in six different regions of Maharashtra with a cumulative capecity of 600 MW. Each plant has 100 MW of capacity. The projects will be implemented in Nagpur, Amravati, Aurangabad, Konkan, Nashik, and Pune. Depending on the available substation link, each solar project’s capacity will range from 2 MW to 10 MW. The last date for submitting the online bid is October 19, 2022. The scope of work for the selected bidders will include setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warrantee obligation with 25 (Twenty Five) years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. Bidder/SPD shall be responsible for applicable taxes/duties/cess or other charges during the execution of the project and thereafter 25 years of the PPA period. After evaluating the tariffs offered by bidders, MAHAGENCO will decide the base per-kWh price for the reverse auction. Land must be secured by bidders for the project. Each project’s capacity must fall between 2 MW and 10 MW by the MSEDCL-provided grid connectivity feasibility for the specific substation. The capacity and grid connectivity of the substation must be confirmed and evaluated by bidders.
