Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Invites Tenders For 5 MW Captive Solar Project

According to the tender document, one person can only submit one bid whether as an individual or as the representative of a consortium.

Karnataka’s iron ore company, Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL) owned by the government of India has invited tenders for 5 MW captive solar power project in Mangalore, Karnataka.

Issuing out engineering, procurement and construction, the scope of work includes, supply, design, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project along with the construction of associated transmission system for a total duration of five years.

The successful bidder apart from all these will also have to get the required land approvals, evacuation if needed, open access to the site, and will also make any other necessary arrangements.

According to the tender document, one person can only submit one bid wither as an individual or a as a representative of a consortium.

Last day for the submission of bids is given in the tender document to be January 7th 2019  and the project has to be completed within 6 months.

The financial parameters of the tenders limits the net worth of the bidder of at least Rs 1 crore and an average annual turnover in the last three financial years more than 5 crore.

Taking the solar strides forward, Karnataka has been championing the solar cause time and again with Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL)having recently issued a 50 MW tender for developing grid connected solar project in Pavagada Solar Park, located in Tumkur district of Karnataka.
