KSEB to Pay Interim Tariff at Rs 3.90 Per Unit for FY18 By Manu Tayal/ Updated On Mon, Feb 19th, 2018 IREDA had filed a petition on June 16, 2017 before the commission seeking an interim tariff and for getting the approval of power sale agreement for 50 MW solar PV project. The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the interim tariff at Rs 3.90 per unit for electricity purchased by the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) from the 50 MW solar PV project at Kasargod Park, developed by the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA). Out of the 50MW solar project, 36 MW was commissioned on March 31, 2017, and the balance capacity was commissioned during September last year. So far, about 40 MU of energy have been pumped into the KSEB Ltd system, but it has not made any payments till now, said IREDA. IREDA had filed a petition on June 16, 2017 before the commission seeking an interim tariff and for getting the approval of power sale agreement for 50 MW solar PV project.
