KREDL Issues RFP For 5 MW Solar Plus Battery At Karnataka Solar Park

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has invited a Request for Proposal (RFP) 5MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant (7 MWp DC) with 5MW / 16 MWh Battery Energy Storage System having 10 years Plant O&M at Pavagada Ultra Mega Solar Park of Tumakuru District in Karnataka.

The last date for submitting the online bid is September 14, 2022. Bids will be opened on September 15, 2022.

This KREDL 5 MW solar tender includes the scope of work in the selection of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and O&M of 5MW (ac) solar PV power plant (7 MW dc) with 5 MW / 16 MWh battery energy storage system having 10 years plant O&M at Pavagada ultra mega solar park of Tumakuru district in Karnataka. 

The estimated total cost of the tender is Rs. 63,57,30,000/-. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 7500/- as a tender / Request for Proposal document fee. Also awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 6357300/- as an earnest money deposit within 15 days from the letter of the award.

Bidder shall have experience in execution of supply, installation, and commissioning of Operations and Maintenance with similar or more capacity considering, during the last five years with any govt. or private organizations in India. And the same project should be in successful & continuous operation during the preceding six months from the cut-off date.

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X Capacity in MW bidder is bidding X 0.7 = X Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
