KPI Green’s Projects And Plans

Over the past year in 2024, the company has secured the project from companies like Coal India Limited (CIL), for a 300 MW solar project. Coal India awarded the contract to set up 300 MW of its solar project at Khavda. CIL had earlier bagged this project from Gujarat Urja Vikash Nigam’s (GUVNL). The tender for this project was released in October this year. The tender result was released within a month.

The KPI Green earlier this year commissioned its 15 MW Solar Power Project (AutoTracker Modules) project with Aether Industries. It commissioned this project with the Gujarat-based specialty chemicals firm under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment.

Last year, the company hinted at its plan to go international. However, it has refrained from shedding more light on its plan, citing ongoing talks on the matter. The top management of the firm, buoyed by its increased penetration in states beyond Gujarat told its investors in a recent investors call. Salim Yahoo, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of KPI Green Energy talked about its anticipated plan.

“Talking about the international, we are at a nascent state. We have a lot of inquiries from international players. We have spoken to them. But at present, I will not be able to give you any details about that. But I can assure you that very soon you will see KPI at an international level moving on to competing with international players also,” Yahoo told investors.
