KPI Green Energy Joins Hands with Uttarakhand Govt for 500 MW Solar Park Independent Power Producer KPI Green has received a new order for executing wind-solar hybrid power project for a aggregate 6.90 MW capacity comprising of 4.90 MW wind and 2 MW solar capacity. The projects have been awarded by General Polytex Pvt. Ltd., Surat, under ‘Captive Power Producer (CPP)’ segment of the firm. The projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2023-24, in various tranches as per the terms of the order. The firm also informed on the same day through its stock exchange that it had received new orders for executing solar power projects of 4 MW capacity awarded by Shree Parmeshwar Steel Pvt. Ltd. and 3 MW capacity from Vivan Steels Pvt. Ltd. The aggregate order size is 7 MW. The projects have been awarded under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment. The projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2023-24, in various tranches as per the terms of the order. KPI Green Portfolio KPI Green has been consistently enhancing its portfolio for hybrid projects and under the CPP segment. A few days back, KPI Green Energy Limited was awarded a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a 145.20 MW wind-solar hybrid power project (comprising 145.20 MW wind and 50 MW solar) by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, based in Bangalore. The project is scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25. Earlier, the firm announced that it had commissioned a hybrid power project at Surat. The firm successfully commissioned a 7.80 MW wind-solar hybrid power project. Of this, the wind capacity is at 4.2 MW while the rest 3.60 MWdc is for solar provided by its wholly owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia Private Limited.
