KPI Green Energy Receives New Order For 74.30 MW Solar Project Gujarat-based renewable energy company KPI Green Energy recently received a new order for a 74.30 MW solar power project under the captive power producer (CPP) segment. Within this allocation KPI Green has undertaken 27 MW capacity. It included a 20 MW capacity for the development of a solar power project forming part of the wind-solar hybrid power project. Additionally, KPark Sunbeat Private Limited has undertaken 30 MW capacity, and Sun Drops Energia Private Limited has undertaken 17.3 MW capacity, both wholly owned subsidiaries of the company, under the captive power producer (CPP) segment of the company. As per the terms of the order, KPI Green Energy Limited, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, and KPark Sunbeat Private Limited, wholly owned subsidiaries of the company are expected to develop part of the projects. These projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25, in various tranches as per the terms of the order. KPI received the letter of Intent, in which it was awarded a 50MW (comprising 16.80 MW Wind and 50MW Solar) Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project. The power purchase agreement (PPA) with GUVNL is to be executed after obtaining the approval of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC).
