KPI Green Energy Receives New Order For 74.30 MW Solar Project Gujarat based solar company KPI green bagged 100MWAC solar power project under tender issued by Maharashtra state power generation company (MAHAGENCO). The company developed the project as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the tender document issued by MAHAGENCO. KPI received the letter of intent (LoI) for an aggregate order of 100 MWAC solar power project in Maharashtra. The company had participated under the EPC package with land to develop cumulative capacity 600 MWAC solar-PV power projects at various locations in Maharashtra. This project was issued under renewable energy (RE) bundling scheme” issued by MAHAGENCO. This tender was for the development of cumulative capacity of 600 MWAC solar-PV power projects at various locations in Maharashtra under RE bundling scheme. The company in its statement mentioned, “We have received the Letter of Intent from MAHAGENCO with RE bundling dated March 15, 2024, awarding us the 100 MWAC solar power project.” The company said, “It underscores our ambition to play a key role in advancing renewable energy solutions at a broader geographical level. KPI received the letter of Intent, in which it was awarded 50MW (comprising of 16.80 MW Wind and 50MW Solar) Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project. The power purchase agreement (PPA) with GUVNL is to be executed after obtaining the approval of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC). KPI received the letter of Intent, in which it was awarded 50MW (comprising of 16.80 MW Wind and 50MW Solar) Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project.
