Kosol Energie holds a Category-1 certification and is an approved supplier by NTPC, meeting the required standards for reliability and performance. “The company’s modules are built with quality standards suitable for the harsh environmental conditions of the Khavda region. The supply includes 550W bifacial modules, designed specifically for tracker-mounted systems to enhance power generation efficiency. All modules undergo rigorous in-house testing to ensure they meet top industry benchmarks. Additionally, the modules are compliant with MNRE and ALMM regulations, aligning with the Make in India initiative and supporting efforts toward domestic manufacturing and self-reliance in the solar sector,” the company said in a statement.

Kosol Energie recently expanded its solar module manufacturing capacity to 3.1 GW at a fully automated facility. The company reports having installed 2.2 GW of solar power capacity across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors in India and overseas markets, including the USA, Europe, and Africa.

The Khavda Solar Project is part of India’s broader push toward renewable energy, with NTPC developing large-scale solar infrastructure to meet national clean energy targets.
