Kosol Energie Launches N-TOPCon Solar Module With 24% Efficiency
India’s Kosol Energie has launched its new TOPCon Sun Plus Series solar modules, featuring a 620 Wp panel that retains the compact dimensions of a standard 550 Wp panel (2278 x 1134 x 35 mm).
The company said the module offers a conversion efficiency of 24%, positioning it among the highest-performing products in the market.
"Backed by BIS, IEC and other global certifications, the Sun Plus Series reflects Kosol Energie’s focus on innovation, precision engineering and quality," the firm said in a statement. "Our goal was to reduce cell-to-module (CTM) losses and improve overall performance."
Key features of the Sun Plus Series include:
Precision-selected, tested glass
Optimized ribbon size for improved conductivity
Premium encapsulant materials
Advanced lamination and production processes
Top-grade junction boxes, cables and connectors
According to the company, these features improve energy yield without increasing panel size, helping lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for commercial and utility-scale projects.
The high-output, compact design is especially suited for solar tracker systems, offering:
Lower capital costs for structural components
Longer tracker lifespan and system reliability
Simplified installation
Lower operation and maintenance costs
Improved ground coverage ratio
Kosol Energie said it is continuing to invest in R&D and infrastructure. The firm plans to open an in-house laboratory and introduce new products in the coming months. Its product range spans from 410 Wp to 670 Wp, with deliveries across India, the United States and the Middle East.
