Khavda: Gensol Secures EPC Contract For 275 MW Solar Project

Gensol Engineering, a renewable energy company specializing in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, secured an EPC contract from a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The company secured the contract to develop a 275 MW Solar PV Project at Renewable Solar Park, Khavda Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. The project includes a total bid value of approximately Rs. 1061.97 crores (Including GST), including three years of O&M.

Commenting on the development, Shilpa Urhekar, Chief Executive Officer, Solar EPC (India) at Gensol Engineering Ltd., stated, “We have started Calander Year 2025 on a high note. We have been awarded a prestigious Solar PV project contract from a Renowned Public Sector Undertaking at RE Solar Park, Khavda Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. Gensol Previous Projects Across Gujarat, Punjab

The company last year in 2024, secured multiple wards from Gujarat. For instance, the company secured an award to develop a solar plant at Khavda Renewable Power Park, Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. This Rs 463 crores project will be a fixed tilt module mounting structure along with the remaining balance of the system.

It also secured the first large turnkey solar project from a steel product company in Punjab. The project involves the development of a 22 MW ground-mounted solar PV power plant, with a total contract value of INR 88 Crore is set to be executed over a 6-month period.
