With the commissioning of these plants, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 11,608.9 MW Khavda: Adani Subsidiary Commissions 62.4 MW Wind For Hybrid Project Continuing its momentum to add more renewable energy projects, Adani Green Energy’s (AGEL) step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Limited recently commissioned a 62.4 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat. Khavda is expected to see a string of projects over the next two years as it moves towards a projected 30 GW plus of renewable projects in the region. With the commissioning of these plants, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 11,608.9 MW. Adani Green’s Previous Projects Earlier this year, Adani Green Energy Twenty-Five Limited, commissioned its 250 MW solar power project. This project is located at Badi Sid, District in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This project brought AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity increased to 11,434 MW. Before that, the company commissioned a 180 MW solar power plant at Devikot in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The plant has a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The commissioning of its latest project in Rajasthan is set to build a stronghold on the Rajasthan market. The commissioning of Adani Green’s latest project aligns with its goal to add 700 MW of new wind energy capacities in the current financial year. This comes after the Indian renewable energy company commissioned 250 MW of wind energy capacities at its Khavda renewable part recently. The company has also undertaken other projects through its subsidiaries such as the Adani Renewable Energy Three. The step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited has entered into a power consumption agreement (PCA) for the supply of green power to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. The said green power would be supplied from a new 61.4 MW renewable energy plant, located at Khavda, Gujarat.
