Kerala Issues Tender Solar System at Pre Matric Hostel

The last date of bid submission is March 02, 2019.

The Kerala State Construction Corporation Ltd. (KSCCL) has issued a tender inviting online bids from the registered bidders of PWD/CPWD/Railway/Irrigation Dept. to supply and install a solar system at Pre Matric Hostel, Kozhinjambara in Palakkad District of Kerala.

The last date of bid submission is March 02, 2019, and the date of opening the bids has been scheduled for March 05, 2019. The prior of completion provided by the KSCCL is 60 days from the date of issue off the letter of award.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 15,48,000 and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 38,700 along with their bids.

Each bidder’s particular attention is drawn to the sections and clauses in the standard Preliminary Specification dealing with the Test, inspection, and rejection of defective material and work, Carriage, Construction plant, Water and Lighting, Cleaning up during progress and for delivery, Accidents and Delays Particulars of payment.

Elsewhere, the Nannambra Grama Panchayat in the Kundoor district of Kerala has issued a tender for the installation of a 5 kW off-grid solar power plant in their panchayat grounds. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 9.7 lakhs and work must be completed in 45 days. The last date of bid submission is March 01, 2019, and the bids will be opened on March 05, 2019.

Recently, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) had issued a Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) for setting up of 50 MW of Solar PV Plant at Kasargod Solar Park in Kerala.

The brief scope of work for the winning bidders will include the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection,  testing, commissioning of the 50 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant. The solar power developers will also be responsible for the successful operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project.
