Juniper Secures 480 MW Hybrid PPAs From GUVNL And NTPC Delhi-based Juniper Green Energy, a renewable energy power producer signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SECI for a 150 MW hybrid project in Gujarat and Rajasthan. This wind-solar hybrid power project is to be developed under Hybrid Tranche VII in Gujarat and Rajasthan. This collaboration aims to generate approximately 477 million units (MUs) of electricity annually. The project is expected to offset approximately 445,796 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year and support the electrification of around 95,079 households. In addition to the hybrid project, Juniper Green Energy has secured an agreement with GUVNL wind Phase VI for a standalone 90 MW wind power project in Gujarat. This marks Juniper’s largest single wind PPA to date. Strategically located, the project is anticipated to generate approximately 293 million units (MUs) of electricity annually, offsetting approximately 2,66,002 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. The electricity generated is estimated to electrify 56,539 households in Gujarat.
