JUNIPER, Envision Collaborate To Develop Wind Energy Project In Gujarat

Juniper Green Energy a renewable energy power producer company and Envision Energy a green technology company have inked an agreement for the development and delivery of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). The turbine has a total capacity of 300 megawatts (MW) located in Devbhoomi Dwarka District, in the State of Gujarat.

As per the partnership, Envision would supply 91 units of EN 156-3.3 MW WTGs and would be overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all WTGs. The project is expected to be commissioned in a phased manner by the end of 2025 and will produce 1000GWh units of clean energy annually, significantly accelerating India’s progress towards achieving its net-zero emissions goals. Naresh Mansukhani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Juniper Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. expressed his jubilation stating “We are happy to collaborate with Envision Energy for the development of this wind project.

This collaboration with Envision Energy is a testament to our dedication to building a sustainable future. RPV Prasad, CEO, of Envision Wind Power Technologies India, said, “It is a happy moment for us as we partner with Juniper Green Energy to leverage India’s wind energy potential in Gujarat. As part of our commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, we will be assembling the nacelle and hubs for the wind turbines at our Pune factory, while towers and blades will be sourced locally. The booming Indian wind energy landscape would play a pivotal role in propelling the country towards net zero.”
