The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has issued a tender seeking Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMCO) partners for the rooftop solar projects installed onto the government buildings in the state. The state nodal agency has issued the tender seeking their services for five years on a rate contract basis.

JREDA said that these bidders need to ensure the Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMCO) of grid-connected rooftop solar power plant for five years. This also includes an obligation of replacement of PCUs and batteries and other components as and where required. The bidders need to give their services in several district of Jharkhand, the tender document said. 

The interested parties can submit their tenders by July 3. The state nodal agency also said that the bidders need to be registered entity in the state.

 “With the help of Financial Assistance from the Government of Jharkhand, JREDA wishes to select competent, experienced and financially sound bidder for “Comprehensive Maintenance Contract & Operation (CMCO) of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Power Plants for Five Years including replacement of PCUs and Batteries and other components as and where required basis at Various Districts in the State of Jharkhand.” The bidders should be a registered company/Firm/Corporation in India (Including MSEs of Jharkhand). 

JREDA said that it would  provide the list of government buildings where rooftop systems needed to be installed. The successful bidders have to execute the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Grid connected Rooftop SPV Power Plants on government buildings, it said. The tender said that authorized dealers’ companies/firms/ corporations and subcontractors are not eligible to participate in this tender. 

The state agency has made six categories for awarding the tender based on the capacity of the rooftop solar projects which range from 1 Kwp to 100 Kwp (with battery or without battery). The tender said that bidders can bid in only one category.
