JREDA Invite Bids For 14 MW On-Grid Solar Project At East Singhbhum

Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) released a document seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) to design, engineer, procure, supply, construct, and commission of 14 MW (AC) grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant at Parta Village, Palamu, and Chakuliya in East Singhbhum in Jharkhand.

It has a comprehensive operation and maintenance for 25 years. The project is located on government land in Palamu and East Singhbhum districts of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited interested parties to participate in this Request for Proposal (RFP) for bidding and selection.

The JREDA invited online bids for the appointment of a contractor for “Request for proposal (RFP) for design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction, commissioning and comprehensive operation and maintenance of cumulative 14 MW (AC) Grid Connected Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant, for 25 years on government land at Palamu & East Singhbhum districts of Jharkhand.”

The tender stated the estimated cost of the project to be Rs. 147.20 crores. It mentioned the estimated time of completion to be 18 months. The tender was released on 26th February 2024. The date and time of the pre-bid meeting are on 5th March. It stated the last date and time for receipt of online bids to be 20th March.

The document mentioned the fee and earnest money deposit (EMD) are to be submitted online via the SBI payment gateway of Jharkhand tenders. The last date and time for receipt of questions/queries/ clarifications is 12th March up to 5 PM. The pre-bid meeting is to be held on 11th March 2024 and the last date and time for online (e-tendering) tender/offer submission is 20th March 2024.

The bid validity is 180 days the technical bid opening date is 22nd March 2024, and the tentative date of opening of an online financial bid shall be intimated later. The date for commissioning of the project is 548 days from the letter of intent. The date for the operational acceptance test is 578 days from the letter of intent.
