Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) has invited bids for the long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) for a 4MW solar power plant at the University College of Engineering Sultanpur in the Sangareddy district of Telangana. The last date to submit the bid is August 25, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day. The contract, which is for operation and maintenance, is for the 4 MW solar power plant and 22 kilometers of 33 KV transmission line between the 132 KV Annasagar substation in Jogipet and the University College of Engineering Sultanpur. For participating in the bidding process, interested bidders will have to pay Rs. 55,000/- as an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). For each unit generated by the 4 MW Solar Plant, a maximum of 20% Cost of the Unit shall be paid by the bidder as the Turnkey share for O&M Charges. Every year, a maximum decline of 0.5–1% units would be permitted. The winning bidder will be required to give up the performance bank guarantee money if the guaranteed minimum generation output is not produced.
