JLand Grp & Gentari Ink MoU for Renewable Energy Solutions & Green Mobility Ecosystem In a move to integrate renewable energy solutions and green mobility, Malaysian property developer JLand Group Sdn. Bhd. (JLG) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with clean energy solutions provider, Gentari Sdn Bhd (Gentari). The strategic partnership aims to develop an eco-friendly ecosystem across JLG’s residential, commercial, and industrial projects. At the signing ceremony, JLG was represented by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Sr Akmal Ahmad, Director, Real Estate & Infrastructure Division, JCorp / Deputy Chairman, JLG while Gentari was represented by Sushil Purohit, its Chief Executive Officer. Others present on the occasion were Yang Berhormat Tuan Ir. Ts. Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh, Chairman of the Johor State Public Works, Transport & Infrastructure; Yang Berhormat Dato’ Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato’ Haji Osman, Mayor of Johor Bahru City Council and Yang Berbahagia Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim, President and Chief Executive, JCorp / Chairman, JLG. The MoU will pave the way for JLG and Gentari to undertake feasibility studies on the integration of Gentari’s renewable energy solutions at selected strategic assets and industrial parks under JLG. The implementation of the green mobility ecosystem in JLG’s selected projects will commence in the third quarter of 2023. As part of the collaboration, JLG and Gentari will also explore the potential installations of an electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at Ibrahim Technopolis (IBTEC) and renewable energy solutions for JLG’s industrial parks. Through the introduction of EV fleet subscription by Gentari, JLG maintains that it seeks to accelerate low-cost investment transition into EV.
