JinkoSolar inks 1MW Supply Treaty with sPower

JinkoSolar announces that it has gone into a strategic consent to supply 1GW of solar PV modules to sPower, US Independent Power Generation Company.

This assertion is said to be the biggest contract for JinkoSolar in the United States till date. JinkoSolar will supply more than three million of its high energy solar PV modules to sPower to utilize in different activities.

The company recently reported the multiplying of its working portfolio in 2015 to 500 MW and arrangements to bring an extra 700 MW on line within the next year.

“JinkoSolar is glad to be sPower’s strategic partner, a key player in the US solar development market,” remarked Nigel Cockroft, GM of JinkoSolar US. “This assertion is the evidence of the reliability of JinkoSolar’s operation and competitiveness of its advance module innovation. This deal insists that JinkoSolar has rapidly become one of the leading solar panel suppliers in the US.”

“The timing of the agreement is significant in light of the recent extension by the US Federal Government of Investment Tax Credits for utility-scale solar development”, said Ryan Creamer, sPower CEO. “Strategic sourcing is an element of sPower’s plan to secure resources in order to ensure that we successfully achieve our aggressive advancement objectives.”
