ITC to Put Rs 2,000 crore in Solar Power, Nourishment Preparing in UP

In a gathering with industries minister Satish Mahana in Kolkata on Thursday, ITC has communicated enthusiasm for putting Rs 2,000 crore in a food processing plant and a solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh. Tractors India, as well, has consented to put resources into an overwhelming machine and guard hardware plant in Greater Noida.

The gathering of speculators occurred on the sidelines of a financial specialists’ roadshow planned for Kolkata on Friday. Infrastructure and industrial development commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey said ITC CEO Sanjiv Puri and Tractors India managing director  Sunil Chaturvedi had exchanges with the minister about venture openings in UP and focused on setting up different offices in the state.

The roadshow in Kolkata is the fifth of six to be held crosswise over India to welcome financial specialists to an uber speculators’ summit in Lucknow on February 21-22.
