As per the tender document, the completion period of this solar project is 6 months from the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to the actual commercial operation date of the project. This IRPL 500 MW solar tender includes the scope of work in design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, all related and associated civil works, installation, and commissioning including warrantee obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. The project will be built by the domestic content requirement (DCR) category, according to the tender document. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 77,35,136/-. To participate in the online bidding process, interested bidders need to pay Rs. 5000/- as a tender / RFS document fee, which is non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 1,93,500/- as an Earnest Money Deposit. A minimum of one plant, with a capacity of 20 MW or higher, shall have been designed, built, and operational by bidders as EPC contractors or as developers for grid-connected solar power projects with a cumulative installed capacity of 80 MW or higher. Before the bid opening date, the reference project with a capacity of 20 MW or more has to have been in operation for at least six months.
