IPGCL Issues L1 Bidders List for Delhi’s 35MW Rooftop Solar Tender

IPGCL Notifies L1 Bidders for Part-A/B/C Resco of 35MW Rooftop Solar Tender issued for Delhi

Delhi Government-owned utility firm Indraprastha Power Generation Co Ltd (IPGCL) has notified the selection of L1 bidders for the grid interactive rooftop solar PV power plant under RESCO-A, RESCO-B & RESCO-C vide RFS No.: IPGCL/RFS-EOI-2/RESCO-CAPEX/07/2018-19. According to the notification for RESCO part A- Networth Projects Pvt Ltd was selected as the L1 Bidder. For Part B, Sriram Cables and For Part C, HFM Solar Power was selected as L1 bidder. The three lowest bidders had quoted Rs 3.13, Rs 3.15 and Rs 2.58 per Kwh. The levelized tariff discovered for per unit of power for the three selected companies are Rs 3.93, Rs 3.96 and Rs 3.58.

The power company IPGCL had issued a tender to set up 35 MW rooftop solar PV project in Delhi under Mukhyamantri Solar Power Yojna. The utility firm said in its tender document that, “Expression of Interest (EOI) for Empanelment of Vendors for 35 MW Rooftop Solar PV Project in the state of Delhi under MUKHYAMANTRI SOLAR POWER YOJNA”.

Further, the online bid submission for the tender was open from December 1, 2018 to December 21, 2018.

Moreover, the 35 MW project is further sub-divided into eight parts under CAPEX and RESCO models i.e. CAPEX – A, B, C, D, E, and RESCO – A, B, C respectively.
